J.P. Jr. wasn’t born a funny country artist.  He’s been a-workin’ at it his whole life….
J.P. Jr. was born in a tiny town in Middle Tennessee. As a swaddling babe he began to play and write country music. He teethed on cheap beer cans, drank sweet iced tea from a sippy cup, and ate lots and lots of corn bread.
As a young man he got in the construction business but always hankered for sangin’ and playin’ country music. He found himself drawn to a small town on the banks of the Tennessee river, nestled between two mountains. This little holler is known as Suck Creek.  It was here that his brand of funny country music was born, raised, nurtured and fondled on occasion.
After losin’ his job, J.P. decided to follow his dreams to a town called Lebanon, Tennessee (just a short truck drive from Nashville).   He became Lebanese and learned the ways of the natives.  Feedin’ cows and chickens.   Fishin’ with worms, crickets, minnows and Krystal hamburgers.   Hoppin’ from bar to bar with the intent to play funny country music and the will to drink loads of cheap beer.
Enough watery beer was eventually consumed to equal roughly ten songs.   These ten funny country songs were raised from babes.  J.P. wrote ’em, recorded them himself, produced ’em, even made his own funny country music videos for the Youtube and the Facebook.  Just as an artisan would blow a glass ornament, hammer molten iron, or stuff a small house cat, J.P. lovingly forged his own brand of humerus country music.
These hilarious melodic gems will be housed in a digital format on what the Lebanese call a CD, but until then these digital jewels reside in small pieces on this web site (they call ’em “em pee threes”).   These MP3s are the preferred method of music consumption by the local Lebanese people – you should try it as well. Once all ten or eleven songs are ripe and ready for pickin’, J.P. will create CD’s to sell for a reasonable price.

J.P. has also created his own line of T-shirts. Mostly white with graphical ornamenture designed and produced by Mr. Jr. himself.  Many of these shirts are the way the good Lord intended: without sleeves.   This way any wearer of the shirt can exercise his or her God given right to bear arms.
Please have a listen to J.P. Jr.’s funny country music and try to be moved – oh – and drink beer…. cheap beer…. and lots of it. (Might wanna do this before you listen – it helps – trust me). J.P.’s worked hard to establish himself as the best funny country artist in the North Eastern part of Lebanon, TN. He is patiently compiling recordings of new funny music and working on funny country videos. He will post these hilarious country music masterpieces as soon as they are fit for consumption. Please come back periodically cuz they’re a-comin’ I promise!
